When Wally and his wife, Christine, settled in Kailua, on Oahu, in the late 1970's, Wally adapted his original chocolate chip cookie recipe to include Hawaii's favorite nut, the Macadamia. Today, Hawaiians say this inspired variety is "Da Kine" - Hawaiian for "the best!" Baked fresh seven days a week, these exotic cookies have the same wholesome ingredients we've selected for our other handmade cookies, including real butter (for a trans-fat free cookie), and Watkins pure vanilla extract.
